Cookie Policy

A clear account of the technologies used by this website.

1. Current position

This website does not currently activate analytics, advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies. We therefore do not ask visitors to accept optional tracking that is not in use.

2. Essential technologies

The hosting platform may use strictly necessary security, load-balancing or operational technologies required to deliver and protect the website. These cannot be disabled through the website because the service could not operate securely without them.

The website stores one local preference named exelixis_cookie_notice after you dismiss the first-visit notice. It records only the date of that choice, is used to avoid repeatedly showing the same notice, and is checked for up to six months. It is not used for analytics, profiling or advertising.

3. Third-party content and links

The partner rail includes institutional images that may be delivered from external source or content-delivery hosts. An image request can disclose standard technical connection data, such as the visitor’s IP address and browser information, to that host. The website also links to LinkedIn and YouTube but does not embed their players or social plug-ins; their services are contacted only when you follow those links.

4. Future optional services

If EXELIXIS later introduces analytics, embedded media, advertising or another non-essential technology, it will remain blocked until the visitor makes a clear choice. The consent interface and this policy will then identify the provider, purpose and duration and will make refusal and withdrawal as easy as acceptance.

5. Browser controls

You can inspect, block or delete cookies and local website data through your browser settings. Removing the notice preference means the first-visit message may appear again.
